Not liking headshots, I recently switched to a JT full coverage mask and actually liked it better than a Dye I3. Receiving a head shot, in my opinion, is one of the worst areas to acquire a hit while playing paintball; reminds me of when Fred Flintstone would get hit in the head with something and the bump rises. I purchased a JT Flex 8 Thermal Goggle Full Cover Olive from Red Dot Paintball and played while wearing it a handful of times now.
The protection is an awesome blessing. From the time I started to wear this mask, I have yet to be inflicted with a head welt and the wonderful pain that comes with it. The full coverage portion of the mask vents better than a head rag, cap, or any other alternative head coverage in my opinion. The rest of the mask is light weight, low profile, lenses are interchangeable, and all that good stuff as well.
