Virtue laser eyes are a complete replacement for the stock Ion eye board. Installing a Laser Eye Board is extremely easy

1. Begin by opening up the Ion grip frame by removing the front and rear grip screws as well as the one screw that sits above the regulator, and below the barrel. All of this can be accomplished with a 1/8" Allen key.
2. Separate the body from the gun, and unscrew the two banjo fittings from the Ion body, again using a 1/8" Allen Key.
3. Carefully disconnect the eye wiring harness from the Ion body.
4. Remove the Ion firing chamber from the body kit by sliding the firing chamber forward.
5. The stock eyes can now be easily removed, and the Virtue Laser eyes installed in its place. You may need to bend the eyes slightly to get them to fit in place.
6. Next, push the Ion firing chamber back into the body kit, and reconnect the eye wiring harness.
7. Reinstall the two banjo fittings with the 1/8" Allen Key.
8. Screw frame back into the body in all the places described in step 1, again with your 1/8" Allen Key.
