We are going to be playing in the MPS series. We will be playing in the Shamrock Shootout on March 27th.

We are going to be playing in the MPS series and we previously played in the Renegade Paintball summer woodsball series in 2009. We finished third in that series.

Our home field, Lakeside Recreational Park, Salina KS, is under new management and they are currently looking at what their options are for staying open. We are still practicing there when the weather breaks. One of our local sponsors, Elite Sports, is opening a field for the summer and we will be conducting all of our practices there once the fields open.

Team Zombie Squad started as a few friends playing rec ball on days off from work. After several outings, our two captains Andy Zeigler (Vanilla Gorilla) and Chris Brown (Iceman) sat down and decided to put together a competitive tournament team consisting of many members of the local law enforcement in the Salina area. We are the only team primarily made up of police officers in the State of Kansas, and we are looking for sponsorship. We are going to be playing in the MPS (Midwest Paintball Series) this year. We have a few local sponsors but we are currently looking for any more help we can get.

The best thing about our team is half are prior military, half are currently on a SWAT team and all but one of us are law enforcement professionals ranging from 1 year of experience to 20 years. We want to put out a good professional product for our community, and especially our sponsors. Paintball is a way to involve ourselves with the youth of our community so that we can have a more professional relationship with them off the field.
